Yachts

What consultation is required for a yacht? You may well ask, but ranging from what type of boat I need, to the electrical gizmos one needs, all require expert opinion. But one area nearly ever yacht needs is an Annual Audit of the Ships Papers, unless you are well and truly retired, even if you have a regular Captain (if he/she is doing their job perfectly, he/she will be hard put to keep all the paperwork up to date) the chances of your ships papers ranging from the manuals aboard, ships drawings, maintenance schedule, licences etc being up to date are unlikely.

Sheldrake offers an annual or biannual audit where Sheldrake staff go through all your on board papers , manuals etc and update them and confirm your equipment is as per the drawings and manuals. All work undertaken the previous period since the last audit is entered in the maintenance schedule and drawings updated. Dependant on the size of vessel and frequency of audit the process is between a few days to three or four weeks.
